Protecting your personal information online is of vital importance
to us. Our goal that all information submitted
and transactions completed through the Web site are confidential
and secure.
LaSalleOnline
Protecting your customer information and online transactions is
a shared responsibility.
Here's what LaSalle does to protect your information,
and what you can do too.
Our role in security.
- We utilize encryption and authentication technologies, including
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and digital certificates to protect
the security and privacy of your financial information.
- We require the use of 128-bit encrypted browsers to protect
your data while you access our online services. Test
your browser to see whether it meets our security standards.
- We require the use of access codes, such as your Customer ID
and Password, that allow us to verify your identity when you access
our online services.
- A timeout feature is used that automatically logs you off of
your current online session after an extended period of time.
- We utilize sophisticated software to detect and prevent computer
viruses from entering our computer network systems.
- We employ firewall technologies to protect your information
and our computer systems. Our firewall technologies are designed
to protect internal accounts from outside access and make the
structure of our internal networks invisible to outside
observers.
Your role in security.
- Do not share your Customer ID and Password with anyone else.
- Make sure no one is watching you when you type in your Customer
ID and Password.
- Use the most recent version of a recommended browser that supports
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol and 128-bit encryption. Test
your browser to see whether it meets our security standards.
- To verify that your online session is secure, look for https:,
instead of http:, on the URL, and a secure symbol (for example,
closed padlock, key) on the status bar of your browser located
on the lower part of your screen.
- Do not leave your computer unattended during an online session.
- Click Logout to end your online session.
- Report known incidents of unauthorized account access immediately.
- Follow the rules and guidelines provided in the LaSalle
Online Consumer Services Agreement.
In addition to the safeguards described above, federal regulations
also provide consumers with important protections for online banking.
If you believe that your Password is lost or stolen or that an unauthorized
transfer or payment has been made from any of your bank accounts,
and you notify us within two business days after you discover the
loss or theft, your liability is limited to $50. Your responsibilities
and protections are explained in the LaSalleOnline
Consumer Services Agreement (PDF,
126k). If you have any questions, feel free to contact
us at (877) 904-7500 or send us an email.
If you would like to learn more about how we protect the privacy
of your personal information, please refer to our Corporate
Privacy Statement.
